A bit more information

Effective classroom management has evolved over the years from overheads to active learning. If you do not want to keep lecturing and teaching the same way you always have and are stuck in a teaching rut, then join a seasoned educator to learn how to effectively flip an oral anatomy/histology/head and neck anatomy course. If you are interested in flipping and do not teach this content this course will still be very informational and helpful.

Course Objectives:

  • Differentiate between face-to-face, flipped, and hybrid classrooms.
  • Discuss validated research on the success of flipped classrooms.
  • Describe how to "mentally" transition students (and yourself) from a traditional to flipped setting.
  • Discuss comprehension and results of a flipped course.
  • Describe effective activities to implement in an oral anatomy/histology/head and neck anatomy flipped classroom.
